The team behind Corby’s Rocked Up have revealed plans to take their summer Hootenanny Festival to Rockingham Motor Speedway this summer.
While the promoters haven’t announced the line up yet, it’s expected to be a mixture of local acts and national names. The Hootenanny has previously taken place at The Shire Horse’s garden and on the playing fields next to The Hut venue.
Aiming to put Corby firmly on the music map, the team of Marc Collins, Stephen Crook and James Hanson are hoping to attract between 1,500 and 2,000 people to the all-day event which is taking place on September 8.
The festival will feature three stages of rock, indie and hip-hop and later this month on the 26th there will be a formal launch event at The White Hart in Corby, where the first 100 tickets will be going on sale.
Super early bird tickets for Rocked Up’s Hootenanny will cost £15, early bird tickets £20 and general sale tickets £25. There will also be after party tickets will be available for an additional £10.
